Update

It has been about 11 months since I have written on my blog. I am not very good at this. Tanner will be one on the 22nd of this month. Jordan and Madison were baptized since I wrote and all the kids have grown like crazy. Sara started school last July, Seth started in August and Taylor starts kidergarten this coming July. My babies are all growing up before my eyes.
Yesterday was Mother's day. Kevin and I went to Brooke's for dinner then all the kids came over to her house for Jarad's dutchoven pineapple upside down cake and homemade ice cream. Soooo good:) It is always a good day when I can just sit and enjoy everyone. Brooke is so good to take care of me and she is a really good cook.
Kevin and I went to LeGrand Oregon to pick up a new 5th wheel trailer in March. We had a fun time just taking our time coming home and camping where ever we could. I can't wait until we can go out in it again. It has been cold and wet for the last several weeks so it's hard to get out. Jordan and Seth want to go camping with Grandpa and Grandma again so we need to find a fun place to take them one of these weekends.
Jarad was laid off of work for a while so I had him paint the inside of my house. My kitchen, livingroom, and my hall. It is so fun to have things clean and fresh again. He did such a great job. It's nice to have children to do some of the grunt work that I don't want to do. He is back to work now so I am glad I got it done when I did.
I am looking forward to the end of school. The kids don't want to be in school anymore. We spend more time chasing them around and trying to keep them in classes than anything else. I kinda know how they feel. I am about done with this stuff myself.

I am so excited to write on my blog today. Our sweet baby Tanner was born on the 22 of May 2009 at about 11:00 am. He was 6lbs 8oz and 18 1/2 inches long. He has red hair and blue eyes. Tesha thinks they will turn hazel like Madison's. Jarad says he remembers Madison looking alot like Tanner. They will name him Tanner Jarad Mauchley and call him TJ. Tesha did really good. She only had to push a little and he was here. She has her babies so easy it is a shame she has to quite. But with 5 kids they are ready to be done.
The girls came to grandma's house on friday for a sleepover. We had Pizza and grandpa took them to the school to play on the Big Toy and then watched a movie. They all slept on the floor in the living room. They woke up in the morning and we had Banana pancakes, sausage and chocolate milk. Madison and Taylor went to Brooke's house to help her with some chores. They came home with new nail polish on toes and fingers and watched movies and cleaned Brooke's walls. They had a riot.
Sara and Morgan stayed with grandpa and grandma for the day. We planted the rest of the garden and watched movies. Brooke had a date so they came home at about 5:00. They were anxious to see Tanner so we decided to take them home. We stopped for some chicken to take to their house for dinner. After we spent a little while and I held Tanner, Kevin and I came home. It was fun to have them there with us but we were glad to take them home.

I am not very good at keeping up on my Blog. It is finally spring, in fact today is warm enough to be summer. I have alot of my flowers planted and my vegetable plants ready to go into the garden.
Tesha is planned to go in on Friday to deliver our new baby boy, Tanner. We are so excited to have him here.
Trennis is having some problems with his weight. My grandkids just have little genes to deal with. Their doctors are just not happy campers. Oh well, they are healthy and strong. Just give us a break. We went to Seth's Pre-school graduation on Friday. It was so cool. He is getting so big. He starts kindergarted next year along with Sara. All my babies are growing up to fast. Madison and Jordan will be going into the second grade next year. Unbelievable.
Brooke has been going out with a new guy. I think she likes him. He is very nice and makes her laugh. That has always been important to her. He seems to respect her space and let's her do her thing without alot of pressure. They have done some fun things together. He has alot the same interestes the Mauchley's do, so I think he might fit in pretty good if she gets serious about him.
Kevin has started his softball season. I think snowmobile season is over, although there is still alot of snow out there. They still have a couple of weeks to hunt the great turkey. They can't find out where they are so we might have to go without the turkey this year. OH WELL! I will end now. I hope I can get to this sooner that I did last time. Judy

It has been forever since I wrote in my blog. It has been a very long winter. I am so ready for Spring to come. Kevin got his new snowmobile and trailer and has been going alot. Kevin also bought a new 3/4 ton diesel truck last week. I think he is excited to have it. Of course he always has buyers remourse for a while but he will eventually be glad he did it.
I really prefer the nice warm weather of spring and summer. I have done a couple of quilts and finished my Alaska scrapbook. I will be really glad when I can get out and enjoy my deck and have warm sunshine on my face again.
We are anxiously awaiting Jarad and Tesha's new baby TJ to come around the 24th of May. Jarad has finished the bedroom downstairs for the girls so there is room for TJ upstairs. Jason has been going snowmobiling with his dad alot. Abby has been painting her kids bedrooms. She has been moving the 2 boys into the bigger bedroom and Jordan gets the smaller one by herself. I have not seen them yet but I am sure Abby is making them cute.
Brooke is still at the Vet hospital. She also seems to like the warm weather. She spends alot of time at the gym.
Kevin bought me Celine Dion tickets for my birthday in February. It was a fun night. Kevin likes her more than I do but I enjoyed the concert.
We are going on a Snowmobiling retreat in March. I really wish we were going to Hawaii, but beggers can't be choosers.

Well Christmas and New Years are over and I am back at work. I kinda like the structure of work and home this way. We had a great Christmas. It was over too quick though. We enjoyed the grandkids and the times we had with them. I am so glad they are close so that I can see them often.
I would like to start my scrapbook of Alaska now and I have a few dozen quilt kits to work on. I have plenty to do. Now is always a good time to get inside things done. Kevin is gone on most Saturdays so I can do my own thing.

Christmas is almost over.

I have been so busy with making Christmas for my friends and family that I am relieved it is almost over. I finally finished all my sewing. It is Christmas eve and the packages are wrapped and the cards are done and is all I have to do is clean my house. I am kinda looking forward to cleaning because it needs to be done so bad and that means everything is DONE. Yea!!!
We are going to Ken and Marilyn's house for dinner tonight because it is Kevins birthday tomorrow and we will have a birthday party. Tomorrow we will go to Jason's house for breakfast and Jarads for dinner. Cool huh? I don't have to cook. I am looking forward to seeing the kids tomorrow. They enjoy Christmas so much. So fun to have little ones around again. Well I am going to clean house now. YEA!!

Year full of Blessings

Hi. Everyone
I hope this finds everyone well and happy. I am trying to learn to do my blog so I thought I would start out with my Christmas letter. We have been so blessed this year.
Jason and Abby gave us a new grandson. His name is Trennis. He is such a sweet baby, and so patient. His older sister, Jordan age 7 and his older brother, Seth age 4 just love him to death. I hope Trennis survives all of their attention. Jason is Service Manager at Cummins Rocky Mountain Diesel and Abby is home working as a full time mom and wife. They still live in their home in Layton. Jason is looking forward to the snow flying so he can get out with his dad to enjoy the snowmobile season.
Jarad and Tesha have just told us that they are going to have a new baby boy in May. Tesha is so thrilled and Jarad is still in shock. Madison age 7, Sara age 5, Taylor age 4 and Morgan age 2 are so excited to have a baby brother. Jarad is still doing his Sheet Metal and HVAC and Tesha is also working at home being a full time mom and wife. They are still living in their home in Syracuse. Jarad has been working on his basement to find more space for the kids.
Brooke has moved into a nice home in Farmington. She is living with a friend of hers and her friends daughter. She is still working at Bayview Animal Hospital. She says she has the best job; she goes to work in her PJ's and plays with puppies all day. This spring she added a new addition to her life. He is a Border Collie mix named Dodge. He adores Brooke and she feels the same about him. He even goes to work with her and sits by her desk all day. He is a good dog and does not let Brooke out of his sight. Everyone is so healthy and well, and we are so blessed as a family.
Kevin is still working at L-3 Communications, and still working in the Stake as finance clerk. I am still at the School District. I have been at the same job for 20 years now and wondering how this possibly happened. The time has gone by so fast. I am teaching the 11-12 year olds in Primary. I have the best calling in the church. I enjoy the kids so much!
In May we went on a wonderful trip to Alaska to visit with our friends Mike and Bonnie Herbert. We saw some beautiful country, caught some Halibut and met some great people. It was so good to renew our friendship with Mike and Bonnie. They were so gracious and hospitable to us, let us stay in their home and entertained us for 10 days. It was a great time for us.
Well Kevin is getting ready for another year of snowmobiling. He just bought a new machine last week and cannot wait until we get enough snow for him to head out to the mountains. He has been doing some hunting and home repairs to kill time before the snow flies. We just got our first big snow storm of the season so I would guess it won't be long before he and Jason will be out bustin' through the snow.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and is blessed with all the desires of your hearts. We love you and cherish your friendships.
Merry Christmas and a very joyous New Year,
Love Judy
